Kher, Maharaja of Devas, Rajendra Prasad, Shah Nawaz Khan, Jairamdas Doulatram, Shanmukham Chetty and K. C. Neogi. On third day of fast, became considerably weak and had to be carried in an armchair. Spoke briefly on microphone, lying in bed ; his dictated speech dealing with questions put by journalists, was read out.
